It seems that indicators can use the gui and strategies can enter trades. Is there a way to have a strategy paint a chart and trade as well?
I have a custom indicator that is useful as a trader. I've had to port the indicator parts involved with trade indication to a strategy, then run both concurrently which is a problem when adding new logic. I have to maintain both the indicator and the strategy.
Doubling up also eats into CPU cycles and memory.
