SuperDom Sim Mode

I am paper trading using the Superdom with a live connection sim101 account. I had about 20 trades today and have not been getting filled on limit orders. Is this a symptom of being in a sim account? Will this happen when I go live? If so, how often? I don't see how anyone can be profitable if they put in a limit order and only get filled when the trade is a loser!

Hi, welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum!

It is always questionable how and when one gets filled, the simulator takes into consideration the volume occuring at your price level, so the fills can be simulated as real as possible.

But unfortunately real time behavior at the exchange queque is impossible to predict.

You can change the way the simulator behaves under Tools > Options > Simulator.

I can´t set Stopp Sell Order in SuperDOM with the middle mouse button in Forex EURUSD. The message is:

Limit price must be greater than 0. Affected Order: Sell 100000
StopLimit @ 1,2897 x -98,7103

fdax future is that no problem.

What can I do?

On which broker technology are you trading? It may be the case that they do not support StopLimit orders for Forex, please try placing a normal limit order instead.

I have Interactivebrokers (IB). Stopp Sell is a normal function in Interactivebrokers TWS (show attachment). I use often Stopp Sell, only forex is a problem in NT. In NT control center, I can set Stopp Sell, but not with Stopp and Target or as can I set this in NT control center?

In IB you place a normal Stop Market order, not a StopLimit order.

To do this on the SuperDOM's just hold the Ctrl button down while clicking with the middle mouse button on your desired price level.
