When using an ATM that has multiple targets, an option is needed so the trade statistics can be calculated based on target within the ATM, not by ATM as a whole (a three target ATM would break into three trades not one). This would allow the true statistics to be evaluated for each part of a trade. Currently, the only way to really evaluate a trade is to look at a single contract within the portion you are interested in, which is fine for one trade, but not very useful when evaluating multiple trades.
Of course if you are trading three contracts with three targets it works fine today, but with larger sizes the stats are not very useful.
