Bollinger Band alert..feasible or not??

I need a little help possible from Josh or anyone else. I know how to set the alert for most alarms but I am trying to set the alert/alarm when price breaks outside the BB. so when the price is outside the BB by say 3 pips I get an audio alarm. It seems the Mkt. analyzer does not recognize BB vs. price comparison. Please let me know how or if I can make this happen. Thanks in advance for anyone's help...jim

Hello jamesr24,

Unfortunately this is not supported in the Market Analyzer upon creating an alert condition.

However, you can create a custom strategy that will trigger alerts when your condition is met. More information can be found at the link below.

jamesr24 - did you manage to do creat this alert and, if so, would you be willing to share it, please ?

To Ninja staff : this is a standard alert in most charting packages, so please consider adding it to NT7.
