How to enter stop orders with lap top

I have a dell inspiron lap top. I do not use a mouse with a scroll wheel but rather use the touch pad to move the cursor and the left and right buttons to click. I have not been able to figure out how to enter stop orders. Help anyone?

    Thanks and best regards

    Hello maxreturn,

    Thank you for your post.

You might be able to set a middle mouse click when clicking both the left and right buttons.

    To check:

    Click Start > Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, double click on the mouse icon.

In the mouse's properties menu, look for button settings. The double button click as middle mouse click option should be available within.

Hello Kyle. Thanks for your quick response. Yes, I made sure that this option was chosen and then tried entering a buy stop order but by clicking both mouse buttons that brings up a buy stop limit order. Is it possible just to place a buy stop or am I limited to buy stop limit orders?

      Regards
      Chuck

        Hello maxreturn,

In the SuperDOM's properties menu, which is available in the right click menu, you can set the 'Middle Mouse Button is Stop Market' property to true. Alternatively, stop market orders are available by clicking CTRL + middle mouse.

More information about the order submission is available at the following link to our Help Guide: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ingOrders.html

If the above yields no result, I would suggest purchasing a USB mouse with three buttons for sake of ease.
