    Target Limit Trigger Glitch

    HI,

I'm using Ninja Simulator with MB Trading connection to the SPY. Today, I've been getting a technical glitch beginning around 1:30pm. I enter a trade, the order is filled and then immediately something triggers the target limit even though the market is no where near the target. So, the voice announcement would say "target filled" and takes my order out of the market. I've tried to repaid the database but to no avail. Thanks

    Hello NujAwh,

    Thank you for your post.

Try the following steps and test the issue between each step:

Please try repairing your NinjaTrader Installation:
    1. Shut Down NinjaTrader
    2. Go to Uninstall Programs in the Windows Control Panel
    3. Select NinjaTrader and hit the "repair" or "change" button and follow the instructions to repair the installation.
If that does not work, try renaming your database:
    1. Shut Down NinjaTrader
    2. Go to \Documents\NinjaTrader6.5\db
    3. Rename the file NinjaTrader.mbd to OldNinjaTrader.mbd

Would either of approach cause the lost market and trade activity data currently in my system? If that's the case, can you think of another possible solution? I don't want to lose that data.

#1, Repairing the installation will not affect your data.

#2, Renaming the Database will store your data in the old database. You can always name it back to Ninjatrader.mdb and delete the new database to get the data back.

One thing you can try before is using a New Chart or New Workspace.
