Combining manual orders and NinjaScript

Is it possible to have NinjaScript monitor and alter orders that are placed / changed manually?

For example: I would like my target to always remain 3 points from my stop. As I manually move my stop, is it possible to have NinjaScript monitor the stop location and move the target automatically?

The short answer is no. A NinjaScript strategy can only modify positions opened within that NinjaScript strategy.

Have you looked into ATM strategies? You could open an order via the chart trader / super dom and have it managed by an ATM strategy.

Thanks mrlogik, this is true. You can enter a trade from a NinjaScript strategy and then attach an ATM strategy template to this and change stops and targets from the NinjaScript code - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...egyCreate.html

I suggest you look into the AutoTrail feature to adjusting your stops as the trade progresses - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...AutoTrail.html
