I know that I imported data because NinjaTrader sad:imported this successfully

It doesn' happen anything next imported and NT sad:imported this successfully

Where is suposed appear this historical data? Where I go open this file to use it in a backtest for example?

Today I can not access to PFG connetion as well. I tried conneted by File>> Connect, on botton left of control center say Connecting-PFG but it doesn't change to green background as usualy.

Change broker connection

I change the connection to Zen-Fire (more Historical Data)

Do I need enter with NinjaTrader/Zen-Fire serial number or can I continue with the first one PFG serial number?

If so how do I do this?

I've got two questions regarding Importing tick data into NT (I'm using 7 btw):

1) From this thread I got the idea that any bar bigger than 1 min can be generated from the 1 min bars and that this will be done automatically on request from the chart, is this correct?

2) How about 'second bars' ? say for instance 30 second bars, can they be generated from an import?

Correct Kashmir, 1 min base data builds other min bar intervals, tick data as base is needed for second bars.

Oh, so it is indeed possible to create 30 second bars?

Because I imported tick data but I can only load it on the chart if I tick the check box that says Generate 1 minute bars.

Am I having a problem or is 30 second bars from imported tick data is just not possible?

Yes, tick data is used as base data to build the 30 second bars - I just tried it here and did not run into any issues.

If you import your tickdata and then create a 30 sec chart - what error are you getting? Which session template where you choosing for the chart?

Im not getting any errors but nothing shows up on the chart.

I'm using default 24/7 as the session template.

I can replicate my problem by doing the following:

- import tickdata with name matching a user created instrument
- request data on the chart - nothing shows up
- import tickdata again, this time ask it to create 1 minute signalbars
- request data on the chart - chart now shows bars.

I replied already to your email yesterday - the data works well for me here if I ensure to select the correct lookback / date range for the tick based chart to be created with - your file only contained ticks from the 14th.
