If I install the ninjatrader software can I receive free real-time data? By how long time?

Yess I know that.
What I'd want to know is:

1: if the "demos" work in real-time
2: if the "demos" are for a predetermined time or for all-life

I ask for that because I read that ninja-trader is a free software for life if you only use it for studying and demo and not for real-trading.

Hi,

If you want to use our Simulated Datafeed, then the answer is yes. You can use this indefinitely. However this is not a Live datafeed. It's internally generated 'canned' data.

If you want to use Live data to papertrade, then the software is free to use as long as you want. You need then to subscribe to a datafeed provider. Most of them have a subscription rate.
