remove historical data doesn't work

Dear Sir,

every time I connect to my IB account NT tries still to download the latest data for the ES 12-08 contract.
This contract has expired now and I don't need the data any more.

ES 12-08 is not present in the Instrument Manager List default which I use.
I tried from NT to

- repair DB
-reset DB
- remove manually the historic data

but it all doesn't help. NT will still try to download that data.
The only place I can think of that data is is in the trade history. But why is NT trying to download it over and over again?

I have more symbols like ^DAX and NQ12-08 and FGBL 12-08 that I would like to get rid off.

How to proceed?

Hello Andreas,

Thank you for your post.

1.) Make sure you don't have any other open workspaces under File --> Workspaces. Any workspaces under "Save Workspace as" are opened and requesting data.

2.) If there are no other workspaces, I suggest deleting your workspace and creating a new one, also check your default workspace for the ES 12-08 contract as well.
