    Some queries on order entries.

    Hi,

Can you please help me out with the following queries:

    1. If I have an open order that was set up as an ATM Strategy how can I close the trade manually if I decide I want to override the ATM Strategy?

    2. How can I set up an OCO stop and target for a trade I opened manually, if I am not using the SuperDom entry screen?

    Thanks for your support.

    Hello Scooter1,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) If you want to close your position, you can use the Close button, which will cancell all pending orders and close your position.
You can also hit the red x to cancell your ATM orders. You will then have to manage the trade manually.
See this link for more details: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ingOrders.html

    2.) Protect Open Position:
If you have an open position without a strategy, you need to add a limit and stop order to protect the position.

    - Set strategy to <none>
    - right click in the DOM and enable OCO order
    - Then place a limit order where you want to exit at a profit
    - Then place a stop order where you want to exit at a loss
    - Then right click again and disable OCO order

      Hi NinjaTrader_RJStein,

Re your answer 1. Is there a way how to close the position without cancelling out all the other ATM Strategy orders? It is really frustrating to stay entering all the ATM pending orders again.

Re your answer 2. Can I protect my open position by setting up an OCO in the Basic Entry Screen since I do not use the DOM?

      Thanks for your support.

1.) Unfortunately not, cancelling the ATM pending order will cancell your ATM Strategy.

2.) Yes, you can right click in the Basic Entry window and enable OCO. Then enter your orders.
