Demo vs Real

I am new to NT. I use Interactive Brokers.

Just a quick question. Assuming, I am using NT[demo] and IB live account.

If a trade executes under NT [demo] would that same trade have executed exactly the same way if it were NT [live].

Need to know.

Thank you for your post.

The sim101 account is designed to simulate real trading as close as possible, but there will always be differences because the orders are not being sent to an actual exchange.

The order process is exactly the same, you just choose your live account.
