Sorry, I am new to Ninja Trader. I started looking at NT because my broker could not do advanced orders for futures trading.

I still like to trade stocks. Will NT work with stocks? I will be using
Interactive Brokers.

Yes, stocks are supported in our software as well with Interactive Brokers.

Stock Order Entry

When you do a stock bracket order, what are the units of the ticks? $0.01. The entry system will not allow fractional amounts. I am confused.

Correct, ticks represent a value of 0.01. For example, stop loss = 8 and profit target = 12 with an entry price of 92.24 (long) will submit the stop loss at 92.16 and the profit target at 92.36.

Unfortunately fractional values are not supported in the stop loss and profit target fields.
