Always start in sim mode dont work

I have open position on IB, I close TWS while NT still connecting, and start TWS again, and connect NT to IB,
Problem is: NT will choose my LIVE account even though it was set to sim mode before in all charts opened and I did choose "Always start in Simulation" . This is very troublesome and dangerous since I open about 20 charts. Please help

Can you please tell how the open position got established.

Did you submitted an order in NinjaTrader with your IB account selected. Then, you closed TWS and performed the other emntioned steps?

Or did the open position was a result of an order submitted in TWS?

the position is opened about 1 month ago without NT.
This is the step:
start NT, global sim works, shut down tws, start tws, and connect nt to tws, then all chart choose the live acc automatically, and global sim doesnt work.

Unfortunately I was unable to reproduce the issue.

I did enter a position in TWS and followed the other steps, but the sim101 account remained in ChartTrader for the charts I had opened.

Did the charts have your live account or the sim101 account selected when you started NinjaTrader initially?

I suggest to delete the workspace that you have opened and check if the issue persists upon using a new workspace.

Close NinjaTrader and delete the workspace at My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->workspaces.
