InteractiveBrokers Backfill

Hello there!

I'm looking to backfill some historical data via nt->ib...but I'm still unable to rebuild data.

I've seen into "tool->options-->data" that historical data server must be specified as an ip adress....how do I get that?

You need to be connected to an IB live account in order to get IB backfill data. IB account or paper trade account will not work.

If problems persists:
- which instrument did you try?
- which interval (1-minute, else)?
- how far back (days...) did you try?

Tried ib live acct....vian lan (nt runs on a workstation and tws on a server) maybe it is a problem... but i dont't think so...ensignwindows backfill fine.

Do I need to edit url data server?

I tried eurex's future but nothing to do (for 1 5 15 mins) i didn't try daily backfill

Are you on NT5 or NT6? NT5 does not support daily backfill data from IB, but NT6 does. First public beta of NT6 will be available next week.

Don't edit the server URL, it's irrelevant for this issue.
