EURUSD Idealpro history

Hello,

I am attempting to view historical data of EURUSD using IB and Idealpro. I am unable to view any historical data. I am using version 6.5.1000.5.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of chart are you attempting to build?



What version of TWS do you have installed?


Also, I recommend upgrading to the most recent version of NinjaTrader.

I am just trying to view a 5 minute chart with some back history. The defaulf for the chart says 15 days of history, but none loads.

Latest tws, 887.2.

Will load the update.

Update loaded. Am still unable to view historical data. I changed format to show half pips.

Please provide a screenshot of this chart and let me know if there are any errors in the log tab.


To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

No errors in the log tab.

Nothing fancy with the chart, a 5 min chart, no indicators. just no historical data.

That is strange, reset your instrument list and let me know if this helps.


To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Misc tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

Instruments were reset, with no improvement. The only data shown on the chart is the data from when I opened the chart. No historical. Still unable to attach pics. sorry. It just times out on upload.

Try Tools--> Historical Data--> Reload
