question regarding a technical issue

hello everyone so not to long ago I started using ninjatrader strategy tester after using a different platform for a long time ,so something i dont really understand is how does the contract rollover work if im testing a strategy for lets say 2 years, the contract has been rolled many times during that time , is the price im seeing for 3 month ago reflecting the actual price of that contract ( the old one ) or does it reflect the relative price to todays contract?

ill tell you the main issue, on the other platform i see winning trades and on ninja the same day is a losing trade and im not really sure how to know which one is right, the entry price is totally different ( 2.5 on natural gas on other platform vs 3.451 on ninja)
whats the best way to deal with this ?

Is the automated strategy you are working with, a strategy coded by yourself using the Strategy Builder, or was it acquired from a 3rd party?

If it is your own coded strategy, please contact our engineering team at
