nt7 license transfer ownership

hi nt7 support

so I'm fed-up with nt8 crashing when I use 3rd party indicators and not facing that on nt7. I decided to return to nt7. the issue now is I can't buy new license and I can't trade live only sim with market data subscription on active nt8 account.

so my question if i have someone with nt7 license and buy it from him, will i be able to trade live or you don't allow it anymore for any new owners even if transfer new license

Thank you for posting on the forums.


License keys are non-transferrable, we are aware of the information used to purchase the license key initially. If this key is transferred it will be rescinded and make the license key unusable moving forward.


It sounds like the root of the issue should be addressed first here. If you are facing issues with these third party add-ons you most definitely should get in contact with your vendor for further assistance on this.

well nt8 crumbles and crashes when add custom indicators sounds no escape from it since you lock nt7 to old users.

Generally users are allowed to use third party add-ons on the NinjaTrader platform. If you use an add-on that was created poorly or has issues, we recommend getting in contact with the vendor to provide further assistance.


Downgrading to another should not be the solution in this instance.
