    Static Equivolume

    Hi support,

I gather eqvivolume adjusts widths dynamically relative to a volume average calculated over some lookback. Can I make this reference number static? e.g. ES equivolume drawn relative to 1000 contracts.

    Thanks

    Hello Benny5863,

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

Currently, NinjaTrader's Equivolume charts dynamically adjust bar widths based on a volume average over a lookback period. To use a fixed volume value (e.g., 1000 contracts for ES) as the basis for bar widths, you would need to create or customize a NinjaScript chart style that overrides the default Equivolume behavior.

    Thank you in advance!

Thanks Luis. Just to clarity the issue; without a way to exclude outliers, apply a max, or fix a reference, it becomes meaningless. I'll check out the ecosystem. thanks and regards
