Are Pending Orders on Broker's Server?

Greetings,

When we have pending orders, are they left on the broker's server, or do they reside on our computers?

In other words, if I am short in a trade and have a pending order to "reverse after stop", and then I lose my internet connection, will the order still trigger if reached, or not?
