Session hours and charts

Hi, I've seen the sticky saying that charts don't update outside session hours, but my question is why? Why I'm able to run simulation, send orders and see bid/ask changing but not able to see charts? BTW in a chart window I can see my stops and position, I can see entry points... at empty chart area!
I don't understand the logic behind that.

Have you tried changing the "session begin"/"session end" times on the chart?

Right click in the chart window and choose "properties" then change the session begin and end times.
