Historical data from Barchart?

Hi all,

As mentioned before, I'm new to using Barchart... and had been pulling my hair out about odd results, but I've just figured it out.

It looks like Barchart doesn't provide historical data past some point...? I'm looking at Feb/March 1-minute bar data, and not coming up with anything. Is this valid, or is this a bug? I don't recall seeing it while subscribing. Can I upgrade my service with them to get more historical data?

Hi heech, you may want to contact BarChart directly on that - which symbol have you been trying to get more backdata for? Thanks!

Well, any of them. I started off by looking at ABH (from 2/10 through 3/20 of this year). That wasn't working, and then I started looking at GOOG, MSFT. Nothing.

Can you try on your side with your Barchart account, make sure I'm not missing anything?

Sure, just tested MSFT 5min, can get back data until May 27th 2008. Same for 5min GOOG.

So... I guess that's the answer then. Barchart gives us 7 months of historical data.
