Tradovate and NinjaTrader

I signed up for TradoVate. I can use NinjaTrader as well and after research, NT is my choice. Signed up for market replay today for $49 per month. Do I get this on NT as well? I don't really use TradoVate, but the emails are confusing now because I think I can respond to that and get stuff set up for my account which is being funded as of (maybe) tomorrow.

The $49/month subscription for Market Replay would only apply to the Tradovate branded platform.


NT web does not use Market Replay.

And NT8 Desktop already comes with Market Replay for free.

To use Market Replay on NT8:

How to Download Market Replay Data

To use the Playback Connection you will first need to download Market Replay data for the Instruments and Days you wish to replay.

• Go to the Control Center > Tools > Historical Data window and select the "Load" tab. Expand the "Get Market Replay data" section.
• Select the Instrument and Date of your desired replay data and press the 'OK' button to begin the download.

Using the Playback Connection

To start playback, disconnect from any other connections, and then connect to the Playback Connection from the Control Center > Connections dropdown. Select the time frame for the Market Replay Data you want to view. The Playback Controller will only display dates for instruments and times you have downloaded on your computer.

You may also check what data you have available by right-clicking on the Playback Controller and selecting 'Available data'. Data will only be displayed within the selected time frame.

Additional Notes:

• NinjaTrader provides about 90 days of Market Replay data for popular Futures instruments.
• Although you may only download one day of data at a time, you are not limited in how many days' worth of data you can download in total, and you will not be prevented from replaying data older than 90 days so long as you have the files saved on your computer.
• Historical Tick data may be used in the Playback Connection in place of Market Replay data, but please keep in mind this option may not be as accurate or reliable as Market Replay data.

Hi Erick,

How do I manage my TradoVate account? When I log in, there's just an option to trade on sim/etc. There's no obvious way to manage the account after login.
