Chart timing

Hi Guys,

I am trying to write some stuff with NT and want to compare it with results from another package but, unfortunately, the times don't match. For example, my 7-minute chart may have a bar at 14.45 while the other package may have that bar at 14.47.

Is there any way I can change my chart timing, please ?

I recommend syncing your PC clock as this is what NinjaTrader uses. In addition to this please look into our performance tips as these might improve your situation as well.

You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

Please re-read my post. I am trying to change the time of when a bar starts and ends.

A 5-minute bar will always start on the hour, five minutes past, ten minutes past, etc. What I'm effectively asking is that I be able to start a 5-minute bar at one minute past the hour (for example).
