Hi all, I'm very new to Ninja Trader but do have some experience with Trade Station. I'm trying to use the strategy wizard to come up with some simple strategies to learn how to work with the system but having a problem with something.

I'm trying to use a simple crossover strategy fast over slow and I would like the momemtum indicator to be rising to enter the position. I don't really care if momemtum is below zero or above zero. When I go to use the "Rising" indicator in the misc. section the middle goes to an "=" sign and the parameters go to defaultinput. I keep getting the error of "Return type of left expression 'Momemtum and right expression 'Booleean don't match.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Than you.

You need to click on the "..." button on the lower left and assign the Momentum indicator as Input, then set the middle to "==" and set the right side to "true".

Basically saying:

if momentum rising is equal to true...
