Intermittently, I encounter missing data(one day data) from Yahoo. I tried to reload data and restart NinjaTrader but it didn't help. Please addvise how to overcome this problem. Thanks.

Could it be during these days the exchange was closed?

NinjaTrader acts like a radio receiver in that we display data as it is provided. Please give me an example of a missing day and I will test on my end to see if I can reproduce.

No. Exchange is open. Please see attached file E5H where data is missing on 29th Dec.

I tested the instrument on my end and I displayed a daily bar for 12/29.

Please right click in the chart and select 'Reload Historical Data'. Try opening a brand new chart and check if you display the bar.

I've tried reloading historical data, closing and opening Ninja s/w but it does not help. Today I have data for 29 Dec and 31 Dec but lose 30 Dec.

Can you please synchronize your PC clock and check if your timezone is setup correctly.

Start NinjaTrader and check once more.

Could not find Time Zone or Synchronization in NT.

I am referring to your PC clock usually displayed in the lower right corner of your monitor.

Click the clock and select 'Change date and time settings' to open up its menu's (Vista). I believe you will have to double click the clock in XP.

You can set the time zone and synchronize your clock in these menu's.

No good. Done synchronization and still lose yesterday data.

Are you still missing data when opening a daily stock chart when connected to Yahoo?

When I load charts until 3rd Jan(Sat), charts show until 3rd Jan but 2nd Jan is missing. I conclude that 3rd Jan data belong 2nd Jan. All previous data are correct. But when I load charts until 2nd Jan(Fri), charts show until 31st Dec.
Have you done anything to it?
I need to check again on Mon for Yahoo delayed data.

I have not read the entire thread, however try deleting the data and reconnection to Yahoo on Monday: Tools>Historical data>Delete.

Deleted historical data and reload but stil missing 2Jan data(previously day data), having 5 Jan Data.
