Interesting Error

I am having an issue with the Strategy Analyser. I have a strategy that compiles well and runs in real time well. In the Strategy tab of the Control Centre, I can right click on a strategy and get the performance from there. However, when I use the Strategy Analyser and try to back test on any symbol (even one that I just saw work in Control Centre) the Summary report is all zeros.

Do you get any errors in your Log tab then?

Are you disconnected from your datafeed while trying the Strategy Analyzer backtest?

No errors in the log and I am connected...

Not sure I follow. When you right click and get performance from a chart you are getting the performance of real-time trades. Your strategy is likely just a real-time strategy. Please try with SampleMACrossOver.

I get data with SampleMACrossOver no problem.

Right. I am suspecting it is your strategy. You may have some lines like

if (Historical)
     return;

I commented that out previously, but I do have a

#if !TESTBED
...

is this a likely culprit?

Not sure what you have there yimbot. The point is if you are preventing your strategy from historical calculations for sure you will not see backtest results in the Strategy Analyzer.
