Forex.com Spreads

Quick question:

I notice that Forex.com offer different levels of account type which allow for tighter spreads in the FOREXPro account.

Are these spreads automatically reflected in NT if you have that account?

Yes, the spread is the difference between the bid and ask prices. You will see this on the DOM in green and blue by default.

Sorry, should've been clearer...

In the lowest Forex.com account, the spread on the Euro is 1.9 pips, but in the better account, the spread is 1.4 pips.

When using GAIN as a demo broker, the pip spread on the Euro is 3 pips.

My question is: if I fund an account with Forex.com, will NT automatically show my spread as 1.4 pips and use that value in all account analysis etc.

The spread has nothing to do with NinjaTrader and everything to do with the GAIN data feed.

Whatever spread GAIN gives you will automatically be reflected in NT.

You need to fund with $10k I think for the ForexPro spreads. When you first fund your account I believe it defaults to variable spreads, after analyzing the variable spread I found the fixed spreads to be much better. The variable spread seemed to be rarely much lower than the fixed, but often much higher.

That's what I wanted to know, I can happily fund the account now.
My concern was that NT may have had an agreement with GAIN for their NT accounts which limited the spreads or something like that.

Elliotwave is correct in that what comes from GAIN is what you get. NT does not alter the data.
