Plotting Breadth Indicators

Two questions:

1. If I want to add multiple breadth indicators beneath a price chart would I have to create a ninjascript indicator that plots each one.

2. Since I think the answer to the above is yes, has anyone created a generic indicator that will plot a second symbol as an indicator?

To clarify, you're saying it is NOT possible to plot another instrument such as $TICK as an oscillating indicator or to overlay it on price?
