Minute and Daily Historical Data.

Hi,

I plan to be using NT platform with IB real time data feed and brokerage.

Could you please clear out some queries I have re historical data:

1. I have historical data from Tradestation which I can import to NT. Will the imported historical 1 minute data be merged with the real time data I will be recieving from IB?

2. Can I import daily data from Tradestation to create daily, weekly or monthly charts? Or can I only import 1 minute data?

3. Can I import daily data from other providers which I could merge with real time data I will be recieving from IB?

Hi Scooter1,

1. Yes, you can import the TradeStation historical 1 minute data as history for your IB symbol - however IB offers historical minute data on live accounts, too - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ricalData.html

2. No, you can only import the 1 min TradeStation data, however as a workaround you can display 1440 min charts in NinjaTrader from this, replicating daily bars.

3. Yes, you can import daily data from other sources, such as Yahoo (free daily equity data)
