Any way to tell where data is coming from?

Hi,

I just signed up for a data account with Barchart. I believe I read in a previous forum post that I had to follow a specific order in connecting to broker and data provider:

- broker (TDAmeritrade),
- data provider.

And that will work? Are there any logging messages that will confirm I'm getting bar data from Barchart, rather than the broker?

And finally, I'm planning to trade with both TDA and IB in parallel. (I do have a multi-broker license.) Any requirements on how I connect, in that scenario?

Hi, you generally want to connect to your dataprovider first (in this case BarChart) and then to your broker connections.
