Please create a new chart via File-->New-->Chart for the QLD.
Check if the range settings are setup correctly; current date is entered as 'Last date'.
The chart should reflect data up to present. I tested a QLD chart on my end while connected to IB and data was displayed as expected.JasonNinjaTrader Customer Service

it is definately a live account and this has been this way, every day, since the 14th. I trade ES and chart others fine all day every day, just QLD is stuck for some reason. you'll see on the attachment that the dates are set but in the top left corner of the chart, it still says "-11/14/2008 (Daily)
If I delete historic data, what will that do to all of my other charts? specifically rollover futures? can I delete only QLD data?
Thanks

here is a screen that shows this is happening with data flowing from IB, active account, currently trading QLD even. The only thing I can think of is I purchased a full license to NT between now and the 14th. not sure if that would make a difference. The NT superDOM does not show any data but the IB Book Trader is fine. This problem is not happening with any other stock, ETF, or Future that I look at. My other charting program is reading QLD fine from this same IB account.
Thanks

Please close the QLD chart you have opened.
Create a new chart via File-->New-->Chart.
Set 'Type' to 'Stock'
Type 'QLD' in the Name field.
Leave 'Exchange' to 'Default'.
You can use the same interval and range settings.
Click Ok and check if you receive all historical data and real-time data.JasonNinjaTrader Customer Service

Fixed...I went to the Instrument Manager and moved QLD from my default list to edit it. Once removed, I could not find it. I used the search function, but it did not come up. I set it up new and all is well. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for all your help..no idea how it got removed but still showed up.

I had a similar problem -- could not get QLD data -- "No security definition". I set it up in the instument manager choosing AMEX for the exchange and QLD for the symbol map to the right of IB. Seems OK now -- is that normal to have to do with certain symbols? Doesn't always seem to be the case as I threw a few small stocks into a chart without having to go to instrument manager.
