Got the following back from Sterling

" many other companies have integrated their proprietary tools into Sterling using our ActiveX API. This may be a viable option for you. Please let me know what data you would need out of Sterling and we can assess what would need to be done."

Is there some way of configuring Sterlings's ActiveX API to connect to Ninja similar to TWS/IB? Excuse my ignorance here but just exploring ideas here....maybe make Ninja think that it is connecting to TWS/IB but it is actually connecting to Sterling?

Unfortunately this is not possible. Sterling is not a supported broker partner like Interactive Brokers. You can only connect to supported broker partners to trade your live account.

We do support an External Feed, which allows third party applications to drive NinjaTrader with data. More information can be found at the link below.

Has this situation changed in the last year since the previous post?
It seems like there is some interest in connecting Ninja to Sterling Trader.

If the data feed for charts is at issue, perhaps it would be an acceptable
compromise to connect to Sterling to pass orders only, and use a different
connection to drive the charts<?>.

Alternatively, are you aware of any 3rd party Ninja Partners that have made this port?

Unfortunately, the situation has not changed in this regard. Sterling Trader is not a supported partner.

I am not aware if any 3rd party vendors created such a port.

Is there a way I can get Ninja to get datafeed from SterlingTrader so I can use ninjaTrader for charts?

Unfortunately we do not support an adapter with them at this time.

You could use our API to custom program a solution for getting some data over into NT however.

Also please look into www.kinetick.com free end of day and paid subscriptions for data if you are looking for a cost effective and high quality data feed solution.
