    *MyDocuments* definition

In the Config.xml the Ninjatrader 8 directory is under *MyDocuments*. Since I need to get rid of OneDrive I'd like to just change the definition of *MyDocuments* without reinstalling everything would that be possible to know where the definition is located?
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    Thank you for your note.

If your Documents folder is located on the OneDrive network drive and you would like to redirect it to a local hard drive, you would need to reinstall NinjaTrader as well.

If NinjaTrader is working well, before reinstalling it, please export a backup file with your settings, by going to NinjaTrader 8>Control Center>Tools>Export>Backup File (and selecting Configuration files, NinjaScript Files, Templates and Workspaces) and save that backup file on your Desktop. Please follow this link for more details: https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8//backup__restore.htm

Then redirect your Documents folder to a local hard drive on your PC by right clicking on the white or blue cloud icon in the Windows notification area, and then select Help & Settings > Settings, then Backup > Manage backup. In the Back up your folders dialog, left click on the Documents folder and select Stop backup. Please follow this link for more details: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-6552e77c3057

I have included instructions on how to reinstall the NinjaTrader platform below.
    • Close all running applications.
    • Navigate to OneDrive > Documents folder > Right-click on the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder > Rename > rename the folder to 'NinjaTrader 8 OLD'. DO NOT delete this folder.
    • Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features
    • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 8 and click Remove/Uninstall
    • Navigate to C:\ > Program File (x86) > Delete the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder if it exists
    • Reboot your PC.

Once these steps are completed, please login into the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard, click "Download" in the bottom left-hand corner of the sidebar to download and install the platform.

Then you can start the platform and restore your backup file in your new installation of the NinjaTrader platform, by going to Control Center>Tools>Import>Backup File.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
