Would you recommend this system to be used with NinjaTrader + ZenFire?

I read that gaming computer is the best for trading computers

my current laptop Intel pentium dual core with 2GB Win XP pro frequently lag with only 1 DOM and 1 chart of NT and firefox

I'm not sure how software architecture works (NT software) so I thought before buying a system I'd ask the question here

here's the spects:-
AMD X2 4850e 2.5Ghz dual core w AMD cooler
biostar nvidia 6150 graphics chip w PCI express
2GB DDR 667MHz
160GB + 8MB HDD

any comments?

The general rule applies, more PC resources will allow NinjaTrader to request more resources and thus data.

NinjaTrader 6.5 does not support multi core processors. However, NinjaTrader 7 will support this. Its beta version is expected to be released the first quarter of 2009.
