no daily chart

Hi,
I use Gain for my data feed and can not generate a daily chart in any of the major pairs. Why not?

Thank you for your note. Gain only provides historical data for tick and minute charts for a 24 hour period.

Hello:

Thank you for your post.

We have implemented this feature.

From Tools > Account Connections > your Gain account and choose 'Change' and then click 'Next' through the Connection Wizard until you see the option Historical Data and checkmark 'Use NinjaTrader servers'.

This will give you a little more historical data from the start with Gain Capital. Please ensure that you are running the current release of NinjaTrader.

Hello:

Unfortunately, no. Gain Capital provides historical minute data only, no daily data.

For daily forex chart data, you would have to connect to eSignal, which supports forex daily data.
