    Connection & Data Reconnect Problem

    Hi...

    Had a cable disconnect problem off and on sporadically this morning. Got a new modem and connection OK now. The data in NT started again (I had not closed NT down) in the charts and the control center still says connection lost. In the screen shot you can see the data gap (where data is running now) and the connection lost message. And I cannot disconnect or reconnect the data in the Control Center. Also had a sim mode trade on when the data disconnected and cannot close it out. When this situation happens what should one do ??...is it OK to shut NT down and restart in this case when a connection is available again and an existing trade is still stuck on ??

    Always in the past when I might get a short temporary cable disconnect NT would would start OK...however never had a sim trade on when that happened....I am wondering if having a trade on at a cable disconnect can cause a problem ??

    Thank you for your post.

    You should try shutting down and restarting NinjaTrader. Your connection should start back up.
