Standard Error Bands smoothed ?

I'm not sure who wrote these bands , but I'd like to know what the smoothing
parameter is ? 20 ? Tia

Hi T2020,

I wrote the Standard Error Bands smoothed file.

Linear regression and standard error estimate are smoothed by an EMA with a length of 20 (Period input).

Smooth Setting

Can you add a setting where I can adjust the error band and the smoothing both?

Please check the attached file David - this add anther input named 'Smooting', this defines the EMA length used for smoothing the basic LR curve as well as the basic standard error used later to arrive at the bands.

Smoothing with jthMA

Hi Bertrand,

Can you make a version of this indicator that would use the jthma for the smoothing?

Unfortunately we just do not have the bandwidth to be making custom indicators for everyone. This is something you will need to do yourself. You need to open up the code and make the modification away from the current MA to whichever MA you want to use.
