SPI Futures setup

Hi guys,

Is it possible to trade the SPI futures? I set it up on the Instrument, but I can't seem to get any live data. Wondering if there's a setting I'm missing.

The SPI is an equity futures contract based on the Australian S&P/ASX 200 stock exchange index. You would need a data service that covers the Sydney Futures Exchange to be able to chart the SPI. The last time I looked there were limited ways one could access such a data feed. I don't believe NinjaTrader Brokerage offer the ability to trade the Australian futures market and hence you need to look elsewhere for both data and order placement. Some years ago I traded it through Interactive Brokers but because of difficulties associated with their data service I ended up getting the SPI data feed from IQ Feed. It wasn't a particularly cheap solution and the interface between Interactive Brokers and NT8 can be challenging on occasions. Maybe there are some simpler solutions available these days but I am not aware of them.
