entries where there should be exits, and vice versa

Hi,

I am placing orders via the File interface. They are executing properly - that's not a problem. What is weird though is what is shown on the Executions tab. My account (Sim101) was flat before the order was placed, but buying 1 YM contract shows as an 'exit' under the E/X tab, and the Position shows 1S.

It seems to think I was buying to cover a short position, not to enter a long position. (I am definitely, 100% sure it was flat beforehand - the Positions tab was empty of rows). What is going on here?

When using the ATI interface it is literally just a radio receiver. Please check the order that was sent from where ever you are creating the files from. Just because you were flat in NinjaTrader does not mean your file created will adhere to this position.

I should also have mentioned that the order was processed correctly in all cases - I had a 1L position after it was received. All that was wrong was NT's tracking, in the Executions tab, of position size and entry/exit status, because they don't match the actual position sizes.

Disconnecting and doing a repair DB has cured it for now, but I think it is a bug in NT (v6.5).
