IB with single Broker License?

is it possible to run NT with a single broker license with Interactive Brokers as the broker? Or must the standard version be leased?

You are most likely on the Free Edition license which is something different.

I assume your allowed to live trade after the 1st payment of the 299 - 4-
payment option ?

You will receive a live license key. Once you have entered the license key under Help-->License Key, you will be able to trade live.
