no daily bars?

I'm able to display intraday bars up to 60 mins without a problem...daily bars, however, yield a blank chart. Is the daily bar feature enabled in the current version of Ninja?

Day bars are a different type of data, all minute bar lengths are simply constructed from one minute bars.

To get around this try using 1440 minute bars to construct a synthetic day bar...

If you try using day bars from Yahoo, you'll see they work fine, its simply a matter of the what your data vendor provides.

Thanks for the reply but, alas, that doesn't do it, either. Just a blank chart with "0.25" at the top of the left-hand y-axis...

My data provider is esignal. I don't understand why this should be such a problem....

eSignal supports historical daily data, so you should be able to create daily charts.

Can you please tell me what instrument is selected in the chart. When you select a different instrument in the chart does the same blank chart appear?

In addition, please confirm the lower left corner of the Control Center states "Connected - eSignal" in green.
