error generating a Market Profile Chart in NT8

Hi,

In an attempt to generate a Market profile chart, I get an error saying that I need a lifetime license to unlock the "Order Flow" functionality.
I do have a lifetime license. This is the first time I am trying to use the market profile.
Need assistance.

Please know that the Forum is a publicly facing location so we do not want to share any private or sensitive information here.

In the future, it would normally be better for you to write into the support team directly any time you are discussing your Lifetime License so we can be specific.


Either way, this normally would mean that you do not actually have your license key entered into the platform. After purchasing a NinjaTrader License Key, you must enter it into your platform manually.

• Please use the following steps to enter your license key into the platform:
  • Go to the Control Center > Connections > Disconnect from all active connections
  • Go to the Control Center > Help > License Key
  • Copy the License key from your email and Paste it into this Box
  • Click OK
• Now, reconnect to your account and you will be able to use the additional Lifetime Features.

If you still keep receiving the same error after the steps above, please use the steps below to send us a message with your log and trace files attached so we may look into this behavior further:

• Go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support
• Select: Platform Technical Support
• Enter your email
• Enter the subject as: Clayton ATTN 03682472"
• Include any additional information in the Body as desired
• Ensure the "Log and trace files" box is checked
  • Send the email
