attempts at connecting to NT8 fails.

installed NT8 about several months ago and have been able to connect several times since then, but now not able to connect to NT8 and instead getting error message: see attachment

Thank you for your inquiry.

This 'Bad input' message means that you likely don't have your username and/or password entered into the connection. I would suggest going to Connections > configure, selecting RITHMIC-JB from the lower left 'Configured' section, and re-entering your username and password. If the connection continues not to work, you will need contact however provided your Rithmic credentials and verify that the credentials are still active.

Thank you for your reply.

To be fair, it probably wasn't your fault at all! Certain Windows Updates can trigger a change in what's called the 'Machine ID'. When this happens, a security measure triggers and erases the credentials out of the connections to prevent theft. I'm glad you were able to get back in!
