    Hello,

If you are seeing this issue today please try restarting the platform to receive the instrument updates from the database.

YES! Please! We all seem to have the same problem with IBKR's re-naming. Why should each of us have to go through the exercise of try to figure out the solution!?!? Show us the screen shots or the sequence of steps and we'll be done with it!

    Thanks.

I got ES, NQ, RTY and others to work by:
    1. Install version .43
    2. Resetting instruments
    3. Amending exchange (unselect Default and Globex, choose CME)
    4. Remove instruments from Instrument Manager and add new ones with CME exchange
    5. Launch new charts, or replace current instruments first (instead of NQ 12-22, I was loading other instruments in the chart, and then changed it back to NQ 12-22
    6. Reload missing data
As for Cryptos, see my post # 18

    Done.
I got a question regarding point 4) "Remove instruments from Instrument Manager and add new ones with CME exchange" :

When you say "add new ones", did you actually change the symbol from ES o ESZ2 or did you just leave ES and amend it to CME? Because it seems not to work just ES

NinjaTrader 7 no longer receives updates to the database, so you would need to manually change the mapping for each instrument in the database. To do this you'll need to go to Tools>Instrument Manager and search for the instrument. Then select it, and click 'edit'.

In the Misc section change the mapping for Interactive Brokers to the instrument followed by the exchange separated by a pipe, as follows:

    MES|CME
    GC|COMEX
    ZB|CBOT

You can also reference this information in NinjaTrader 8 if you are unsure of how this should be mapped.

I got it to work. I needed to launch new charts, and I also got BTC and ETH to work by changing it to BRR|CME and ETHUSDRR|CME

    Hi Ryan

Can you also please share the updated instrument symbol mappings for BTC (currently BRR|CMECRYPTO) and ETH (ETHUSDRR|CMECRYPTO). does it require change to BRR|CME or so?

I have the same issue for ES, NQ and RTY (e.g. ES 12-22). I updated to NT 7. 7.0.1000.43 yesterday and reset the instruments. This did not solve the issue as reported above.
I also tried remapping from Globex to CME.

Can you please share screenshots of the instrument settings and mappings for ES, NQ and RTY?
What exchange do you choose besides Default? Would you need to do anything else? like removing the "old" instruments from charts and instrument lists etc to make it work?

Reading that you have NT7 too like me, I posted above, in post #3, how I've solved my case. Perhaps it could help you

I have similar problem with IB and it started today. Charts for ES, MES, NQ, ^SP500 do not refresh in my NT8 (8.0.26.1). Chart trader shows correct ask and bid prices and they are updating fine, S&T window also gets updated, but charts are not updating. I am using 'stable' TWS 10.19.1g with web start. I tried to update instruments and instruments lists in NT8 Database Management and restarted NT8 but that did not help.

Ryan, a couple of questions, if you don't mind:

    - If I reset instruments, will the exchange for ES and MES go from Globex to CME as IB moved recently?

    - As far as you know: Can be this "Reset instruments" done without any issues in NT-7 ?

    Thanks

So what about the exchange? As you know IB decided to change, for example, the ES and MES futures from Globex to CME. How does it leave the mapping reset ? Does the Symbol mapping include the name of the exchange? Looking forward to clear this doubt
