Ninja 7 cannot load GC historical data

My CQG continuum is working but GC will not load data (although the real time data does start coming through once loaded)

    Anything that I do ??

    Hello daytrader24,

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum!

If the real-time data is being received, but no historical data loads, my first suspicion would be the installed NinjaTrader version itself.

Please click on Help > About, and confirm the installed version is 7.0.1000.43. If you are using an older version, please follow the steps below to update the platform:

    First, to update NinjaTrader itself:
    • Click on Help > License Key, copy the key, then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on this link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Under 'Prior Releases' select the version next to 'NinjaTrader 7' to begin your download.
    • Before running the installer, ensure that NinjaTrader is closed.
As a second step, please follow these steps to reset the instruments:
    • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
    • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
    • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection
Should this still fail to resolve the issue, or if you are already using the most recent version; Could you please let me know the expiration of the instrument that does not load? E.g. GC 12-22 or GC 08-22.

I look forward to your reply!

Thanks for your response Manfred. Yes I already have the .43 release. I did getting it working by updating my 12-22 GC rollover month as the date was wrong.

If I reload version 7 1000.43 will that fix the rollover date issue or is there an easier way to make sure these are up to date.

      Thanks in advance !

The easiest way to make sure the rollover dates are correct is by resetting the instruments. I have just confirmed myself the dates in our current database are correct.

To reset the instruments, please follow the steps below:
        • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
        • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
        • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection
Should you still encounter any issues, please let me know!
