    NT7 won't start

    Hello,
    I case NT7 won't start, what should I delete to make sure it starts 'clean' ?
    I get the initializing screen.
    It stops at Loading available connections.
    I tried to setup NT FXCM but later I read this is only for NT8.
    This morning there where some errors in downloading history,

    Thank you very much for your post.

    If you would like to perform a clean NinjaTrader installation, please first uninstall it through Windows' App & Features, then navigate to Windows Documents folder and rename the "NinjaTrader 7" folder therein, e.g. to NinjaTrader 7 OLD.

    Once renamed, please reinstall NinjaTrader, the folder will then be recreated.

    If you would like us to take a closer look at the error in question, please send us your platform's log & trace files, we can then best assist further. You can do this by following the steps below:
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com, referring "Ticket 3667837".
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      Hello Manfred,
      thanks.
      I did the Repair option.
      I suspect the error was due to the automatic connecting to NT FXCM
      Does FXCM work at all on NT7 ?

        Thank you very much for your reply.

        At this time, FXCM would only work with NinjaTrader 8 and is no longer compatible with NinjaTrader 7. It is possible if the platform hasn't been updated in a while that this connection might have still been set up, which would explain the issues you've encountered.
