NT/ Freeze on Parallels and Win10

Hello,
the get connected screen freeze after pushing the button connect.
i´ve find an older answer with stop sharing the files of the mac and windows, but it doesn't work.

Hello radkha,

When installing NinjaTrader on a Mac with Parallels, you will need to ensure that the following steps have been taken prior to the installation of NinjaTrader.

• Start Parallels and select your virtual machine
• Press the "Configure" button on the top
• Under "Options", select "Sharing"
• Uncheck "Share Mac" under "Share Mac User Folders with Windows"
• Press "OK" and start the virtual machine

Can you please uninstall NinjaTrader as per the instructions below, then uncheck "Share Mac" and subsequently reinstall NinjaTrader.

• Make sure NinjaTrader is shut down.
• Uninstall NinjaTrader via Windows start menu-->Settings-->Apps.
• Uncheck "Share Mac" in Parallels
• Download and install NinjaTrader from the link below.

Check if the issue with the 'Get Connected' window persists.


If the issue remains, please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files in an email and send it to "platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com". Put "Att Jason, 3662890" in the subject header.

Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 7 or 8' folder

Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.

Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

Unfortunately not, a lifetime license key is required to use Order Flow items in the NinjaTrader platform.
