TS Email Interface - Flatten Everything

My TS strategy code uses "Setexitonclose". I trade the ES and exit at 4:00 PM EST. Using the email interface. Can I set the flatten everthing time to a few seconds after the close as a safe guard to make sure my trades were exited? ...... or will this not work with the email interface.

Hi Richard,

With the email interface NinjaTrader will try to execute any orders as received via email from TradeStation. If you submit a flatten everything order from TS and it submits an email to NT it should work provided you can get the order through to your broker after the close.

Thanks Josh. What I am asking is can the flatten everything be executed from NT (not TS). Just in case there was an order sitting unfilled from Tradestation.

Maybe you answered this question, but it seems like you are saying that it would need to come from TS and not NT.

Yes, you can flatten any position in NinjaTrader.

- Control Center --> Positions Tab --> Select the position, right click and select "Close"
