Is NT7 environment preserved after NT8 install?

Just wanted to verify with NT staff that my NT7 environment would be fine and operational as before if I install NT8 along with it on the same laptop without it resulting in any modification to my existing NT7 environment. True or False.

Yes, NinjaTrader 7 and 8 may run side-by-side. Both programs will run independently from and cannot speak to each other when placing trades and working strategies due to being separate programs, meaning your setup on NinjaTrader 7 will not be affected by NinjaTrader 8.

Please keep in mind that you will not be able to log into the same account and use the same live License Key on both platforms at the same time.
